Like a sprint car, the "Full Body" Late Model is the top of the stock car market. The cost on these full body cars has been lowered recently with the mandatory "Crate" engine being used, but they are still the monsters for all stock car divisions.
This type of race car has gained in popularity over the past decade to one of the most competitive types of racing on dirt. The front wheels are exposed while rear wheels are partially covered under the body. These cars are capable of speeds near 90 mph.
Often referred to as the "Thunder & Lightning" division. These cars reach speeds over 100 mph. With an engine producing in excess of 700 horsepower, in a car weighing 1400lbs, the power to weight ration in these cars makes them a big fan favorite.
